Paul's voice has become a familiar one in Nottingham, the City in which he has spent much of his life. His professional broadcasting career began at Radio Trent in 1982. He later took up roles at Leicester Sound and assumed programme management responsibilities at Classic Gold GEM AM. Paul launched Fosseway Radio in Hinckley for the Lincs FM Group before leaving to establish the successful major regional station Saga 106.6 FM in the East Midlands, later playing a group-wide role for the Saga Radio brand.
Paul joined the BBC in Nottingham in 2008 where his Sunday nostalgia programme has become compulsive listening. He's now also heard on Saturday's Radio Nottingham breakfast show - and on the online easy-listening station, Serenade Radio each weekday lunchtime.
